In A Place Where The Water Meets The Sky

Poor 10 year old, farm girl Rachel has spent her whole life raising livestock tucked away in the valleys of the Appalachian Mountains. School has just got out of school and her parents have decided that she and her little 7 year old brother, Spruce, are going to spend the summer at their grandparents' house on the water. There she discovers water is sweet but blood is thicker.
