Dan Howell is a particularly socially inept teenage boy, much to the surprise of his parents and teachers. Most teenagers have parties and get drunk while Dan rather likes to go to the local coffee shop on the corner of the street he lives on. As most of his classmates make excuses as to why they didn't do their homework, Dan had it ready before the teacher can say a word. Dan chooses to stay by himself and to the other classmates, he is seen as a freak of the sorts.
Phil Lester had been watching this boy for a little while now. No one notices Phil that often, his own parents occasionally forget of his existence. But Phil can not break his infatuation with the boy that like to go to the little coffee shop at the end of his street.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
