Life's tough. That's a fact for eveyone. Everyone just shows it differently. Especially Savannah Fields.

She doesn't make sense in the High School sense. She hangs out with the potheads, yet has never smoked. She dresses like a goth. Lives a total country lifestyle out of school. And she's in four honors classes. Don't forget the fact that she is a Band Geek. 

But things are becoming aggravatingly difficult. Petty things lead to giant fights with her mother. He entire family as a whole treats her as a working mule. She's drifting farther away from her friends. Her thoughts have turned very dark. No one seems to get why she feels this way and they all just tell her how to feel. A lot of second-guessing runs through her analyitical mind as she tries to make sense of the world around her.

Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self. Will her pack and mate right their terrible wrongs, and bring her back to her former glory, or will they carry on with how they are, and have her fall into a comatose like state?
