Hermione Granger had never gotten along with Draco Malfoy, mainly due to the fact that his family appalled Muggle Born wizards and Hermione was the only wizard in her muggle family, but also his family had worked with Voldemort for ages, and her best friend Harry Potter was Voldemort's main victim after surviving his killing curse, Voldemort seeked revenge for over 13 years.
