Avery Alexander is tired of her pack. Her parents are constantly ignoring her, tending their Beta duties instead. She instead tries to make friends in the pack, however no one else seems to be interested. With no one in her life but herself, she leaves on a journey to find herself.

But Avery Alexander isn't just tired of her pack. She's tired of her life. No, she isn't treated like a slave, but she may as well be one. Cinderavery is what her name should practically be. Her sickly sweet mother orders her around while her distant father tends to his Beta work. True, she has no friends in the pack. It's not from the pack's lack of trying. Avery just isn't interested. Her pride doesn't allow pack members to see what goes on behind her home's closed doors. So when a new life is offered to her, she grabs onto it with both hands. After all, nothing could go wrong...right?
