Mercy Thompson and friends find themselves transported to a new world among others. They then come across a child who agrees to help them go back. As they come across various obstacles that not only threaten their ability to go back home but their very lives, they can't help but wonder, who is that child?

To be clear, I do not own any of the characters from the Mercy Thompson series. They belong to the author and her alone. I might even change the characters and their names in order make them my own later on.
1st time writing anything like this, so if you would please guide this one, that would be great!!! I need lots and lots of Constructive Criticism, so please feel free to tell me if you've encountered any grammar mistakes or even any plot holes that could damage the story. Sayonara!!!

Valentina, meanwhile, would be happy with just one recovered memory. She would love to know how she became tattooed, or even just what the Chinese character on her ankle means. But, as some of her friends know, the price of that one memory might be set higher than she is willing to pay. (There are some ethically interesting choices from the main characters, thus the mature rating. But nothing graficly shocking should be included, just a couple of murders discussed that could absolutely not be avoided.) (All characters are strictly fictional. I feel this should be highlighted, for while inspiration is always tied to the outer world, imagination composes a story out of it and colors the outcome with dreams and nightmares.)
