Magic: The world people use when they have not yet scientifically proven something.

People are so, so tiny. We are so tiny in fact, that it's laughable we care about our puny little lives. The tallest building we have made is but a grain of sand in the ocean. There are other worlds then, beside our little speck? With other little people like us?  Why on earth not? And maybe, just maybe, there are people who can go there. With a little help of course from good old planet earth. Or maybe not so good, but now very old planet earth. But what would that do to a person? To go to a dimension they don't belong to, well. That could make, or break the stoutest hearts. But maybe, they could get a little help from the specks around them. And maybe, there's something that science hasn't seen on that world, maybe... just maybe, something... Magic.

Hoping for a great life, hoping for a good friend, hoping to get a great boyfriend, and so on. No matter if you believe in god, devil or nothing at all, you hope for something anyway. Arav Tarak, 17 year old kid, kid with not much of a social life except for his two friends and one that would rather sit at home playing games and read books than going at parties. Someone wouldn't leave much of an impression in your mind. That is, until the era of demi-humans came forth. A world-wide phenomenon gave birth to Grimoire and power in humans, who were later termed 'Grimors'. One of those grimors was Lucifer. Will Amar use his abilities to help people? Will he use his ability to become a beacon of hope? Or would this new life give him nothing but sour and back-stabbing aftertaste? This book will take on its narrative based on the first-person views of three separate protagonists. I will remind those reading that 'protagonist' does not equate to 'hero' in all cases. A forewarning: This story includes many heavy themes and I felt the need to write them with the reality of how they happen. As such, be cautious. This book contains mentions of sexual assault, murder, violence, substance abuse, and overall conflict. There are also quite a varied amount of scenes with some 'gross' aspects to them. Though I imagine this would only affect those with vivid imaginations, you deserve to be warned regardless. Updates will done be once weekly if not more.

Tales Of Wonder are short stories that are tied in to a novel I've had in my head for years. They are related to the novel and each other. These stories are mainly to motivate me and to test out different writing styles. Each short story will be written in different styles. They take place in a world where magic and science combine. The first story here, I admit leaves the rules of the world and how everything works a little vague but each short story will add more and eventually the novel will tie up the magic system.
