Fukushima Mizuki was never an ordinary girl. Every since a young age, she has been obsessed with mysteries and even helped solve cases in her hometown. Now a 16 year old bored with her life, she spends her days idly. But all that changes when everyone's attention is brought to focus upon a series of killings so violent and mysterious, everyone on the case hasn't even a slightest clue on who did it. Is it another Death Note, another 'Kira'? Secretly, Mizuki is put on the case with Near. She is told to use an alias, but...
