Fukushima Mizuki was never an ordinary girl. Every since a young age, she has been obsessed with mysteries and even helped solve cases in her hometown. Now a 16 year old bored with her life, she spends her days idly. But all that changes when everyone's attention is brought to focus upon a series of killings so violent and mysterious, everyone on the case hasn't even a slightest clue on who did it. Is it another Death Note, another 'Kira'? Secretly, Mizuki is put on the case with Near. She is told to use an alias, but... -------------- I do not own Death Note or any of its characters. I own my ocs and the idea. This is about 6 months after Kira's death. aka Light Yagami. I know so soon...Sorry if that summary sucked. -sniffles-

"A Death Note? Nice. Who'd be stupid enough to leave this lying around? I mean, it obviously wasn't real, but if I had a notebook like that, I'd be kind of protective of it, not leaving it in a random place like this. A drop of water landed on the cover. I looked up, noticing that dark clouds were rolling across the sky. Ugh. Better call my brother Teru for a ride. I glanced back at the notebook. Sorry to whoever this belonged to. It was mine now! As I picked it up, the world blurred slightly. The notebook flashed white-hot, burning my hand, but I couldn't let go of it. A sensation like I was falling came over me, and I blacked out."
