Cleara Nome is pretty much an ordinary girl, despite her colour changing eyes, telepathy, super strength, and a literally killer voice. When she wakes up strapped to a table, her life changes forever. That's as far from normal as it gets. Cleara has spent most of her life being an outcast,and being taken away from her foster mom and being locked up in a small cage doesn't help. Everything Cleara has ever known is a lie. Her eye "disease" isn't a disease at  all but a science experiment....that  has been killing all of man-kind for the last three years...but why didn't the failed experiment kill her? Why didn't it kill all of them (the other "mutants")?Why are they so dangerous? Why are they so different? Will they be tortured to death? Will Cleara be able to escape the prison she's in?
