I wrote this poem and submitted it for a poetry competition in January. I found out a couple weeks ago that they decided to pass on my submission. At first I was upset but I think I was more disappointed in my self I felt like I failed myself. I also felt weak. Then it hit me this was the first time in my life that I've ever seen something all the way through and that was a win in itself. I came up with a idea to write a silent short with this poem being narrated. I'm currently talking to a film production company but I haven't secured anything just yet. I still want to release this poem. It's a personal poem, my soul cried in this piece. I hope you enjoy, also I apologize for this long intro. Please leave comments I look forward to hearing feedback. If the production company doesn't want to move forward with this project I'll probably turn it into a story with a bunch of chapters, either way I'll create something worth your time. حان وقت إكمال ما توقفنا عنده، رحلة لا تزال في بدايتها.. ستضحك..ستبكي..ستؤلمك قصة أحدهم، ستتعاطف مع آخر. لكن في النهاية ستحزن على فراقهم جميعاً. في بعض الأحيان تكون إرهاقات الفراق أسوأ من الفراق نفسه، عندما تشعر بثقل الحديث حتى يقل مع الشخص الذي كان السلام بينكما يجعلك سعيدًا مبتسمًا. شعورك عندما تكون حزينًا ولا تسطيع أن تتحدث معه خوفًا من أن تكون حملًا ثقيلًا عليه.. عندما تريد أن تعبر له عن اشتياقك؛ لكنك تتراجع خشية ردوده الباردة، كيف هو شعورك وأنت الطرف الأكثر بذلاً للجهد.. لم أكن أطلب الكثير.. كل ما كنت أريده فقط هو أن يكون لي نفس الحب الذي أقدمه! كنتِ ولا زلتِ نجمة مضيئة في دربي، يزداد وجهك ويزداد حبي..مهما طال فراقنا فأنا لا أتخلى عن شيء أعتبرته مِلكاً لي.. وأنتِ أعز ممتلكاتي.
