I wrote this poem and submitted it for a poetry competition in January. I found out a couple weeks ago that they decided to pass on my submission. At first I was upset but I think I was more disappointed in my self I felt like I failed myself. I also felt weak. Then it hit me this was the first time in my life that I've ever seen something all the way through and that was a win in itself. I came up with a idea to write a silent short with this poem being narrated. I'm currently talking to a film production company but I haven't secured anything just yet. I still want to release this poem. It's a personal poem, my soul cried in this piece. I hope you enjoy, also I apologize for this long intro. Please leave comments I look forward to hearing feedback. If the production company doesn't want to move forward with this project I'll probably turn it into a story with a bunch of chapters, either way I'll create something worth your time. XOXO Da ArtGod. This is my first attempt at writing a longer story. The Words I couldn't Say
This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. It wasn't my fault
This is a novella I had to write for school and I would like some feed back. EXCERPT Pain is something I've become very accustomed to. Whether I like it or not. It sounds mental though, I know. My biggest fear is being alone, even though I already am. As I walk into the school I see them, my 'friends'. They're sitting in the quad all chatting to one another. I try to turn around before one sees me but I see one waving me over so I'm left with no choice but to go. "Hey guys" I greet them with a shaky voice. So if anyone has feedback for me or just wants to talk comment or message me anytime and I'll get back to you as soon an I can.
