Diadem Hill: Perils of Infatuation

New Zealand, late 1800s: Not wanted by the townsfolk of Morelstone, who saw her as nothing but a half bred colored girl, Birleah Aanalesa Cleyre was determined to seek her way out and start a new life.
After finding a maid ad for a manor called Diadem Hill in a far away town called Avella Creek, she immediately flees Morelstone to go and apply. Once she was hired at Diadem Hill Manor by a mysterious tycoon named Willis Bryant; Birleah becomes suspicious of him, and the rest of his family after finding out that people had gone missing or murdered soon after their arrival into town.
All of the servants were dodgy when answering the many questions Birleah inquired about her employers. What secrets were they keeping from her? Nothing too complicated...only that they might be vampires.
To keep Birleah at bay, Willis gives her mixed signals and makes her jealous in a multitude of ways but slowly finds himself actually falling in love with her. But will he tell her that he loves her before it's too late?
