17 year-old Tomoe Akashi is a student in Fujiyoshi Combat Academy with her weapon scythe called Moonlit Reaper to become a huntress, a scythe user who fights against the evil in the world. One day, the world is overrun by these horrible monsters, killing thousands of swordsmen, hunters and huntresses, gunners, elves and other magic users, and bowmen. Tomoe and few of her classmates are given an assignment based on their combat skills. They must defeat the rest of the monsters. They're shocked, but agree. Along the way, they find out their true battle skills along with hidden abilities and transformations. Will they be able to liberate the world?
