Dan is sent away to the kingdom of Shire by his parents. In a matter of three weeks he safes the life of the young prince and is made his personal serving boy.
Dan also happens to be a wizard and anyone who is found to be able to do magic is put to death. He confides in the young prince and soon their friendships ablaze.
