Cassidy James is the schools "badass". She's the crazy lesbian who loves to get in fights and do reckless things. She's only fallen in love once but when she does fall in love, she falls hard and there better be someone there to catch her. She's a tomboy and doesn't have a huge group of friends but is fiercely protective of the ones she does have. She doesn't take crap from anyone and most people don't even think she's capable of love until a certain someone comes along and changes things.

Riley Tayler is a somewhat shy bisexual girl who at day is a nerd and at night is a party girl. She's feisty and sarcastic with a pinch of sass thrown in there too. She just moved from her home town, Portland to Maine. She's been in love twice and after the second time when she gets her heart broken, she swears off love. But things can always change and people can always mess up your plans.
