Xavier is the Alpha of possibly the biggest and strongest pack in the underworld. A descendant of a line of Alphas, he need not growl nor snarl to send lower beings to their knees. His pack has unwavering loyalty towards him. Other wolf packs respect him. He does not falter in assertiveness. He is quick to punish any form of disobedience. He is strategic in devising methods to continue expanding his power and influence. And when he conquers the territory of Yana and his band of social outcasts and mixed- blood, he spares them in order to have them become members of his pack and serve as regulars. Almost all began to conform except Yana whose ferocity remained as fresh as the hour of the take-over. The approach of the cold signals the mating season and things between those two remain the same until the behavioral change of Yana followed by Xavier's own body submitting to the whims of nature.
