Fifteen year old Yukihira Seira is the younger twin to Yukihira Soma, and has cooked at their family diner for her whole life. However, that soon changes when their father shuts down the diner, and sends them off to Japan's Top Culinary School where the success rate is less than 10%. There, Seira encounters friends, rivals, and perhaps even love as she and her brother climb to the top of Totsuki's Food Pyramid.

Takumi Aldini believes that with his brother at his side, they are sure to take the number one spot. However, when two new transfer students arrive, he feels like the competition just got more intense. Maybe it was the speech they gave. Maybe it was the way they acted the exact opposite, yet they spoke in unison.
