With their hands clasped together as they danced to the slow tempo of the song, Grace couldn't help but wish the moment could last forever. She wasn't sure why, but she just did. Steve was looking down at her, his greenish eyes never once leaving her face.

❝What is it, Steve?❞ Grace finally questioned. Although she had grown comfortable around him, she often found that stare of his leaving her edgy.

❝I'm just silently admiring you. Can I not?❞ he breathed, the most innocent smile etching itself on his masculine features. One of his hands slowly slid down to the small of her back in an attempt to bring her closer. His eyes soon hovered over her lips and she wondered what it must feel like to have her lips locked with Steve Phelps.

It was a rainy day in New York and Grace Denning was shivering in the cold with her practically useless umbrella. Not only does she end up being 'accidentally' bumped into by a rather handsome man on her way home, but she later finds out that beneath the beauty lives a mysterious man willing to do anything to get her attention.

With a much more broken past than Grace had initially thought, she eventually finds out that Steve isn't just a womanizer on the outside. And he might just end up cracking Grace's hard shell.
