I only came to the city to earn some money, so that I could help the people who remain in my home town. Who can't leave even if they wanted to. If they try the city poeple just send them back. "There's no room here for people like you." They would say. You had to have some real skills if you were able to come to the city and stay. I came here to work, and now I am being dragged to a place with flashly lights by a guy I don't even like. He is creepy, shelf-centered, and overall harsh to everyone around him. Little did I know he was planning on cause a tragedy.

"Wait!" I called out to the dark shadow figure that was leaving without turning back. "Please," my voice wavered as I eyed the bleeding body that laid on the ground ay my feet. [COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living.
