"Facebook is getting so boring lately..." Kiera sighed as she scrolled down her facebook profile. Suddenly a page appeared on her timeline. She clicked on the link, and a brightly coloured page rose up into a new tab. She scanned the words, her right eyebrow cocking up in disbelief at it's cocky words. "Are you looking for your soul mate?" "Do you think you can survive 2 months inside a sweltering hot jungle?" "If you answered 'yes' to both of those, then CONGRATULATIONS! You are the exact person we are looking for!" "We guarantee that you will leave the jungle with your soul mate... if you can last the petrifying challenges ahead." "Are you up for the challenge?" Kiera chuckled bitterly at the screen, "Finding your soul mate? Pfft! Yeah right, this is just a money scam... one of those crappy TV shows." She muttered to herself. But then her eyes fell upon the word 'challenge'. "A challenge, huh?" She cocked her head to the side, her ginger hair tickling her elbow. "Well, I can never resist a challenge.." She grinned, filling in details of her personal information. She finished and clicked enter, a huge smile forming on her lips, "Finding my soul mate? In The Jungle? Huh, bring it on."

*********************** "You're the city kid who's parents kicked the buck- fuck. I mean shit. I mean hi." He stammers. The entire family stares at Jack in pure horror. I burst into laugher, still to their horror. "Good one." I chuckle. Jack raises his sharp eyebrows. "You're fucked up, City Boy." He says. "Kieran." I say. "Bless you." He responds quickly. "No that's my name. Kieran." I elaborate. "Like the coffee maker?" He asks. "What? No, not Kierig, Kieran." I repeat. "Key ring." Jack says. I sigh. "I'm bein' serious as all outdoors, I can't say it." Jack says. "Maybe because you talk like a weed whacker." I say. Jack looks taken back by my comment. "You're funny. I like you...Kerin?" Jack says. "Keep trying." I say. "Jack, why don't you help Kieran settle into his room?" Roger suggests putting so much emphasis on my name, I almost forget how to say it. "You mean my room? Sure thing, Father." Jack huffs. Wait... I have to share a room with that thing? He looks like he bites. "Don't worry, Kieran. He don't bite." Roger assures me. Did I say that aloud or has Jack bitten in the past? **************************** Kieran's life is in shambles.
