One faithful night, running an errand  becomes a race for your life. Facing with a strange creature ready to take your life, a striking white haired devil hunter comes to your rescue. 

As events unfold, you're becoming targeted by devils as well as an organization you yet to have met with.
Your life drastically changes as your unknown past comes back to hunt you. 

What are these unknown secrets of your past. Will you be able to overcome them once you find out or will you die trying? 

Will both Dante and you be able to work together and overcome the obstacles within your obscure past? 

Will the two of you flourish into a budding romance rather than two aquiantences? 

Will Dante finally be lucky in the women's department or fail miserably trying.

DANTE X ORIGINAL CHARACTER Lynaria Woods lives a quiet and fulfilling life tending to her flower-medicinal shop after the death of her father leaving her to take up his place. Lynaria's typical day to day life is shaken when some of the denizens of her quaint town Celestia begin to disappear, only to be found in the early morning slain by some vicious creature leaving little trace of its intentions behind. On top of all going on in Celestia, a chance meeting with a certain infamous demon hunter causes Lynaria to take a step back from all she's perceived to have known. This causes her to have to open herself to new knowledge of herself as well as the world around her. Will meeting this demon hunter provide the safety she so prays for? Dante has been in the demon hunting business for 15 years and will always jump at the opportunity to help those in need. Taking the least to most dangerous missions, it helps stave off the loneliness he experiences intermittently, exacerbated by the thoughts of failing his brother and mother. One fateful phone call brings him to Celestia, England to face a threat terrorizing the young women of the city. When he crosses paths with an empathetic, reserved young woman, it causes a spark to ignite that he felt had gone out a long time ago. *Set after the events of DMC3 and before DMC1. Having endured the torture of losing her life alongside of the his, whom she loves more than anything, when awakened and freed, Esme continues to dream of that very loss as a reminder of what she perceives as being incapable. Even after being reunited with him and being undyingly loved by him, Esme continues to muse about that time period amongst other mysteries. It is during Vergil's unloading, Esme is able to find what grounds her to the moment and solidify her place at his side as the strong, devoted, and loving woman she is. **This story follows Stay in the same universe.
