Melody may seem like the typical 15 year old girl, studying to be a soprano songbird in Paris, France. But, little does anyone know that Melody happens to be the daughter of Erik Destler, aka the "fabled" Phantom of the Opera, and his wife, Christine.
Melody watches in envy as her parents' love blossoms, growing stronger by the second. All she wants is for someone to love her as he father loves her mother, for someone to look at her with that same amount of passion. But, no one seems to notice her at the school of music she attends, shy as she is.
Although it may seem Melody is invisible and repellant to love, a boy lurks in the shadows, unknown and undetected. Will both Melody and this mysterious boy find what they long for most, true love that stays strong?

Ok let's see. Phantom of the Opera fan fic, ummm, what else? I don't own any of the characters except the reader and her brother, also their parents and a woman by the name of Chevrolet Boucher. Erik has been searching for his soulmate for a long time. You see, he can hear his soulmate singing in his mind but he's never known whose the voice belongs to. For a while, he thought it was Christine because she could hear a voice too. But he later learned it was her childhood sweetheart, Raoul. After his many murders and accidentally burning down the Opera House, he searches for his mysterious soulmate. As he searches for a way to leave Paris, he meets a young sailor named (Y/N) (L/N). She is part of a crew of a trading ship that she escaped on when she was only ten years old. When (Y/N) lets Erik leave and work on the ship, Erik sees and learns things he never thought he'd learn. But his soulmate has gone silent since he met her. Has something happened to her? Only by traveling into the unknown will give him the answers he needs. DISCLAIMER!
