Eurydice, or Euri, is stuck in a loop of constant thoughts about how death is inevitable, with a boyfriend Aris to match. Except her boyfriend takes it farther, by killing people on a daily basis, to 'face death right on, to show I'm the boss.'
She knows he's a psychopath, but there's only so much you can do when you don't want to get killed yourself.

 One night after he came back home form killing, he starts showing interest in killing her. Euri knows that she doesn't want to die in such a violent manner, and decides to run away to her cousin in Washington to get away from Aris.
Once Euri gets to Washington, she meets Orpheus, a handsome boy whose girlfriend, Sera, is a major bitch, but also the hottest one in school. Everyone knows of an old legend that speaks of an Eurydice and Orpheus belonging together, and nobody lets up on the fact. But, fate wants them no where close to that.

{based on the 1959 film Black Orpheus, and the old Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice's love.}
