Contessa Clarke (Tess) is a girl of wonder. Her past is a mystery, and her mother is dead, leaving her with her shitty step-father, Jon. Fortunately, she has her three best friends: Blake, Bree, and Jacob. Tess's whole life she's wondered about her mother, her mother's family, and why they had to move so many times. When she died, Tess completely shut everyone out. But with the help of her friends, the 4 teens go on a all summer road trip to help Tess truly find her herself, and figure out the mystery of her past.
