Happy 4th of July and Independence Day.
Many have a loved one, whether its there partner or a family member or friend, that sometimes don't have the opportunity to join together with others and enjoy an Independence day. This year was different from what I normally expected and I actually felt very alone without my partner PacificaTombstone.
I missed her as I heard the fireworks go off in the distance.
I dedicate this poem to everyone who has a close person in their life who is missing right now.

I smiled as I watched my closest friends be happy. That's all I've ever wanted, right? Make those around me happy, but it's hard sometimes. It's hard to watch those around you be happy when you can't manage to be happy yourself. But don't worry. It'll get better, right? That's what they say. Maybe they're right. I should just trust them. Fix Me, I'm Broken
Walking into an empty house is normal to me. I guess I got tired of saying 'I'm home' when nobody is home to reply. It wasn't always like this. I remember when our family was close.
