Six ordinary people meet under extraordinary circumstances. Did fate bring them together? Or something much more dangerous?

"Get up Minnie! We have to get moving if we're going to make it on time!" In response to this rude awakening, the girl sleepily rolled the other way. "Come on, I am not going to miss this because of you!" Charlotte nearly screamed at the tired girl she called her best friend. "Are you kidding me right now, Char? It's two in the morning. I need my beauty sleep," the girl groaned. "Or so help any person who dares to every breath in my direction tomorrow." She then curled up under the covers. Charlotte rolled her eyes at Minnie's classic antics, but smirked nonetheless as she produced a handwritten note.
 I, Minerva C. Montgomery,
Hereby and henceforth promise
To accompany Miss Charlotte Tiln
On Saturday, the 17 of June
To where the sunrise at 5:43 am
And allow you to use my microphone
(If necessary)
Charlotte triumphantly waved the letter in her friend's face and sauntered down the hall, calling behind her shoulder, "I'll start the kettle!" Minnie begrudgingly slipped into leggings and a comfy hoodie and trudged down the hallway after Charlotte. She all but fell into the kitchen chair and glared at her excited best friend. "Give me sugar." She commanded as she walked back up the stairs to retrieve her beloved ring. Returning downstairs, she was gifted a warm travel mug full of green tea and her phone. "Let me eat first at least, geez." Minnie poured herself a bowl of sugar cereal and began chewing. Char shuddered at the very thought of such a disgustingly sweet breakfast. She had opted for a healthy egg and toast instead. "Let's move, lazy bones." Char scooped up her friend's bowl as she spoke. "We are already cutting it close, it took you half an hour to get ready, Min." Charlotte tisked her. "Now, let's move. We've got an hour and a half of road to burn. Oh, and I brought all the gear." Char announced, and off they went.

In a distant realm where magic thrives, ferocious beasts shake mountains and rivers with their mighty roars, and individuals wield superhuman strength capable of reshaping their surroundings. It is a magical world where the strong rules. But rampant corruption and chaos exist, where slavery, rape, murder, and discrimination against the weak were all but common. The magically superior people trample over the lesser unfortunate folks, using them as stepping stones and disposable assets. All hope for these downtrodden souls seems lost, but the wheels of fate have other plans for them. In a faraway ocean, one that is filled with demons and sea monsters, a great technological civilization suddenly appeared, one that came from a world that is only filled with chaos and destruction. This civilization became the heaven for people seeking a stable and peaceful life. The Earth rose and seas parted ways, and the environment had totally changed for its adaptability. Unfortunately, the inhabitants of this great technological civilization are all but manaless, arriving in a world where they are seen as inferior and as slaves. How will they react of finding themselves in a world where people can split mountains or bend the fabric of space, and where beings exist that even conventional weapons cannot defeat? How will they survive against deadly monsters, magical beasts, and superhumans that could threaten entire nations? And how will the other powers that exist in this world react to a powerful, advanced nation filled with a race they deem inferior? This is the story of one of the most powerful empires on Earth, and how it broke the balance of power and rose to the top.

Viktor didn't expect to be abducted by aliens when he went to school one morning, and he certainly didn't expect to be thrown into the alien equivalent of a dog-fighting ring, either. But when fighting for his life quickly becomes his routine, will he be able to muster up the strength to break that mold? Especially when the fate of humanity rests on his shoulders? *** The Vokkrus, a warrior alien species, go to Earth with the intention to 'rescue' the human species from their dying planet. The catch is that they believe humans to be nonsentient and incapable of intelligent thought. They are treated as nothing more than the common animal. They are a commodity, something to fawn over and ogle at. Humanity's strength and stamina are nearly unrivaled on this new planet, and when Viktor is taken to an alien fighting ring, he quickly dominates the competition. Mercy has no place in the arena. When Viktor is adopted by the leader of the Vokkrus, an intimidating alien whose intentions are unclear, he is forced to shed his wariness and convince the alien king to save humanity from his accidental oppression. *** Please don't advertise other stories in the comments!
