"Harry?" I called out into the darkness. The only sound of reply was the chirping of crickets in the trees. I started to move in the direction I thought he went in, but didn't find him. "Harry? Answer me! This isn't funny!" I yelled. Still, no reply. I was about to turn around and head back to the house when I heard a twig snap. I froze instantly in my spot and hesitantly called out, "Harry? Is that you?" I waited and fear stabbed me deeply in the gut as I got no reply. Suddenly, I felt two warm pairs of hands creep around my neck, one across my shoulders keeping me in place, and the other on my mouth preventing me from screaming out. "Marley." I heard a deep voice chuckle. "It's very nice to see you. Harry won't be much help to you where you're going. He's very much alive, but if you scream, he won't be for much longer. So I suggest that you come with us willingly if you don't want my partner to put a bullet through that pretty little head of his." Marley Cavanaugh is a normal, eighteen year old girl who manages to get herself stuck in the middle of a war between two different packs. She is held somewhat captive by five gorgeous men from across the lake. As she begins to fall for two of her captors, with mutual interest, she also becomes a target for the other clans. Oh, did I mention, they aren't human?
