After Heidi Dalton's parents recent divorce she moved back to Japan, from America, with her mom. Heidi's father is a professional baseball player back in the States so Heidi grew up playing and being around baseball. Because of that Heidi was offered a spot on the Seido Baseball team by her God Father, Coach Kataoka. During her first year many of the guys doubted her at first, even players from other teams because of her gender. She caught many people's attention, espicially Miyuki Kazuya. After he found out about her pitching abilities the two of them formed a battery together and Heidi was able to prove everyone wrong that she can play with the boys and be a total bad ass at it too. The Line Drive
"'Bye.' I say after Edwin's kiss. He gives me a small smile that honestly looks more like a grimace. It makes me a little uncomfortable having him kiss me in the library. Edwin walks away, and someone standing in the corner of my vision makes me turn in my seat. A tall, muscular man is standing there, his arms crossed, staring at me. He's got dark brown hair, perfect eyebrows, and soft brown eyes. Honestly, he's gorgeous. And since I've read, and edited, about five articles about him, I recognize him immediately. Dane Sawyer. He's the best pitcher on our baseball team. He's hoping to go pro, although I'm not totally sure what the process is surrounding that, since I don't retain much of the information from the articles that I read about him. I know that he's also a junior, and that his girlfriend is hot as fuck. I've seen them together on campus. They're hard to miss because they are easily one of the most attractive couples that I've ever seen. I'm convinced that I must be hallucinating, because he makes eye contact and walks towards me. 'That was awkward.'" ~~~ Junior year is starting off chaotic for Mackenzie Brooks as she steps into her role as the editor-in-chief of the college's newspaper. She's smart, focused on school, the paper, and her TA responsibilities. Junior year should be starting off easy for Dane Sawyer. Senior Year is suppose to the fun right? Parties,bonfires and dances. But that isn't how things go at St Highland Academy. This school has pride itself on being prestigous on their student's education. Most kids that attend this school are generational offsprings. Their parents are in the medical field ,law firms,and politics. Alexis Hartley is the daughter of the DA Hudson Hartley. She is blue eyed brunette who plays tennis and softball and has been in every school production since she was 5. Not only that she is a top academic student with a 4.2 GPA class president. And then there is Bucky Barnes. The football captain and loves being center of attention. All the girls love him and he loves them too. Maybe a little to much. His dad is the mayor of their town and his mom is a lawyer. But these two opposites are about to learn what it means to be a senior at their prestigous private school.
