Trusting My Senses

A Summary of The Secrets of the Journal:
There was an attack in camp. The unknown entity who sneaked into the camp accidently set off an alarm in the big house which made everyone alert. Alexis was one of the first to hear it. Without thinking, she ran toward the Big House and jumped in. Little did she know, she was getting closer to the entity itself. Just as the monster was going to finish her off, someone distracted it and stalled time. While the monster was distracted, Peyton (one of Alexis’ siblings) grabbed her and got out of The Big House. Evelyn is the one who helped her. The story, “Trusting My Senses” is told in her perspective. It’s a continuation from “The Secrets of the Journal.”

Brief Summary:
When there's a demigod of Hecate around, everything is an adventure.
And according to Evelyn's senses, things are never the way it seems.

NOTE: This is the continuation of "The Secrets of the Journal," which was told in Alexis' point of view. Alexis is a daughter of Apollo (she was my first original character, based on the Percy Jackson series) so she and Evelyn aren't related genetically.

By the way, I'm thinking of putting this and Secrets of the Journals together, and then later on add on new parts (if I get ideas and write more) to make it all one story, instead of making them each short stories. It'll be a bit complicated though. xD Since 1. the characters varies, 2. they'll be pretty long chapters, 3. I don't know what it'll be called!
