A SpaceWing egg accidentally gets launched out into the vast lands of Space. It's journey through the black world seemed long, like a few years. But of course that is false, for the egg never hatched. Suddenly, when it passed the moon, a strong gravitational force sent it catapulting forwards, in the direction if Pyyrhia. At the speed it was going, it caught fire, for the friction was very strong. It landed in a desert, and the egg was cracked. The baby dragon had its eyes closed and was engulfed with flames. But a single steak of luck meant that a SandWing, coming back from her visit to the Kingdom, had reached out for the dragonet. And the most peculiar thing about this dragonet? It had no wings.

After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. However, a strange occurrence happened at Jade Mountain. He and a few friends try to solve the mystery, gathering up all the clues while the SkyWing wonders if he should go back to his guardian. Soaren had hid his true identity as the 'lost' SkyWing, but he needs to eventually open up. With the NightWings in the Rainforest, more mind readers will be born and they'll find out who he is. But worst of all, he'll have to face something far more terrible than anyone could have imagined... The whole of Pyrria are relying on the dragonets of destiny, they sing their hope and wait for the end of the war, will they be able to do it? Can Starflight lead his friends to victory?
