Ayon kay Apostol Juan, mapalad ang nagbabasa at sumusunod sa mga nakasulat sa biblia, dahil malapit na ang pagparito ni Jesus (Apocalypsis 1:3) Ang layunin ng aklat na ito ay upang ipaalam sa mga tao ang mga aral ng Ama na ating Diyos at Panginoong Jesus ay tungkulin nating lahat na sundin at pahalagaan. Sinabi ni Apostol Pedro na ang mga sulat sa Biblia ay hindi kailanman nagbuhat sa sariling paliwanag (1 Pedro 1:20). Ipapaliwanag natin ang mga aral ng Diyos gamit ang Biblia at hindi ng ibang libro. 

Ang mga aral ng Diyos na nakasulat sa Biblia ay hindi ginawa upang saktan ang damdamin ng mga taong nagkamali sa kanilang mga paniniwala at nakasanayang gawin. Tandaan natin kung gaano kamahal ng Diyos ang tao kaya ibinigay niya ang kanyang bugtong na anak na si Jesus. Nawa'y malinawan ang isip nang sinomang magbasa ng biblia at maunawaan ninyo ang kanyang mga katotohanan. Gabayan nawa kayo ng Diyos sa araw-araw.
