Introduction:

Lakeville highschool is the new school lauren jane edwards has to attend. She is very insecure and people from her last school easily could get to her because of her mixed heritige (consiting of irish,american,and pakistanian) Shes afraid that this new school is going to be worse than the last and that her eating disorder from all the stress will increase. Constantly running away lauren always trys to forget about her past but she cant. lauren's parents are no help..her dad is abusive and has a drinnking problem and her mom died four years ago from a eating disorder along with the constant beatings from her intoxicated huisband. lauren knows about her mothers death and knows that it could easily happen to her....lauren wants to change her depressing life soon but isnt sure how. lauren jane will learn about true love and how easily people can change her life but just when her frown begins to turn into a smile something happens and makes her life turn into true horor and sadness...and broken heartness once again.
