"Why did they come? Why did they come for us!" I sobbed, shutting my eyes in the torture. He was limp in the tall grass, his skin pale and cold under my hands. His pulse came to an end and I could only watch his last breath frost over in the winter breeze.
Why did I have to do this? Why couldn't I have just found somewhere else to hide?
Because you've already lost the first fight. You can't lose another.
My eyes welded up in tears because it was true. It was true that my only reason for murder was because I've lost so much. Hurt so much. Anything more would be the end. The end of what my life was meant to do. The end of Kia.

When love hurts you when there is betrayal and revenge, The heart, once tender, now bleeds with bitter ache, Yet through the storm of sorrow, strength you shall find, And from the ashes of pain, your spirit will rise anew. --------------- He held my hand gently, his touch was so gentle and firm. His other hand snaked around my waist, in a slow, torturous, yet blissful movement, and he swirled me in a graceful dance motion. The room spun around me, but then he let go, and I stumbled, my balance lost. In an instant, he yanked me back towards him, and I bumped hard into his chest, the impact taking my breath away. As I looked down, trying to steady myself, he lifted my chin with his two fingers, making me look into his eyes. The back of his fingers trailed from my neck to my cheek, turning my legs to nothing but a jelly. His gaze was so intense, and instantly the gentle emotions were gone, replaced by his standard emotion, rage. His eyes blazed with an almost frightening intensity. He swirled me harshly again, the movement abrupt and forceful. Then, he bent me backward on his arm, my body arching under his control. He drew his face closer until I could feel his warm breath against my skin. We were so close that I could see the fine lines around his eyes, the slight stubble on his jaw. A soft pink color of his lips were adding a touch of warmth to his face. His eyes bore into mine with deep intensity. Just when I thought he might kiss me, his expressions became colder and he made me stand upright, leaving me disoriented and confused. I was looking at him and he was looking straight ahead.Concluida

What Are We?
...there is a charm about the forbidden that makes it unspeakably desirable. " Kharis, why don't you just tell me how you feel because how you act is confusing me. " I said fed up with the uncertainty of our situation. " Is there something here or am I just making a fool of myself?" I scoffed. Having said that out loud, a cloud of embarrassment built over me. Of course there was nothing between us, he wasn't capable of looking at me as anything other than an intruder to his perfect little family. He just needed a shoulder to cry on and a heart to play games with and like the fool I am, I served it up to him on a silver platter. This was nothing but a way for him to deal with the whole Kalen situation. I was just a distraction. He remained completely silent and that was a good enough answer for me. I should have crushed this stupid crush years ago. I should have never let him get this close. " Okay, " I said softly. " I get it, I was just a distraction, a way to deal with what's happening." I had to fight real hard to fight back the tears that were just begging to be let free. He doesn't deserve them, no one does!. " I should have known! " I said feeling like an utter fool. I attempted to push past him but before I could he stepped in front of me and looked me dead in the eyes. Shit, maybe I shouldn't have mentioned Kalen. He kept his eye contact as he slowly got to his knees. He's eyes were watery at this point and the guilt of mentioning Kalen was beginning to eat me up. Shit, shit! " I'm sorry, I shouldn't have..." I said getting to my knees as well. " I don't know how you've been able to over look all the shit I put you through over the years." He said with such a low tone, i don't think he was talking to me. He immediately looked away probably ashamed of himself. " I'm blackened at the heart by all the pain I caused you, so don't apologize I'm only getting what I deserve.

Sometimes I feel as if I should receive an award for staying strong for so long. When it becomes almost habit to fake a smile everyday and to hardly ever cry no matter how awful I feel is tough. I make it through though. It's life. I feel like crying is a sign of weakness. I guess that's why I hardly ever cry in front of people or even alone for that matter. Only a few people can see the sorrow deep in my eyes. I hide it with laughter and a smile everyday. I'm good at hiding my true feelings and that's not always a good thing. I tend to bottle up my feelings until I burst. I either yell, scream, and fight or I just sit alone and cry for hours. I've only cracked to one person and she is my best friend. She's always been there for me and is like the little sister I never had, but always wanted. No one else has gotten through me yet. I don't know if anyone ever will either. Maybe someday ill find someone that can make my sorrow and pain go away. Maybe someday ill find someone who loves me for me. Maybe someday is sooner than I expect. Maybe it's right around the corner. "Hold on your bow tie..." I trailed of as I stepped closer to him, and he straightened so that I could do whatever it is I wanted to, as he looked at me in confusion. I adjusted the bow tie, so that it looked perfect. After a few seconds I looked up at him, and right then and there I knew that that was a mistake. Liam's eyes were looking at me intently, and I couldn't seem to look away, as my hands trailed down stopping as it reached his chest. "Your bow tie was tilted to the right." I said in a whisper, as he looked down at my lips as those words came out of my mouth. "Thank you." He said back, his voice had gone an octave lower as he said those two words. His eyes looked back to my eyes as my eyes looked down to his lips as he said that. She didn't reply and I felt her finger move across my skin, lower, and almost all the way down my lower back. A shiver coursed through my body, strangely pleasant, and I felt her finger stop. "Your tattoos are beautiful," she said softly. Too close. She was too close. My pulse was hammering and I could feel her cool breath against my skin when she spoke, and my body was warm from having felt her. I couldn't reply. My breathing was light and shaken. I wanted to just turn around and pull her against me, or rather put her against a wall, so I could kiss her and feel her more properly against me. If she touched me again, I wasn't sure that I could keep myself from doing just that. "I'm going to take a shower," I said suddenly in an attempt to escape. She didn't stop me, so I took that opportunity to walk away. When I reached the bathroom, I took a deep breath to steady myself as well as my pulse. "Why did you do it Eli?!", I growl with tears falling down my cheeks. Eli just stares at me with no emotion and then looks down to the ground. "Fucking answer me!", I hiss my hands flying everywhere. "It's in my nature I'm a bad boy", Eli grits his teeth. "How can you not think of me?! Your going to leave me alone " Eli murdered someone, he can be facing years or even life in prison! Just thinking about this situation makes me sick to my stomach I stood there shocked by his reaction. "It's over Gia!", Eli scowls with no emotion. "W-what?!", I scoff. "I said it's fucking over what part don't you understand?!", Eli shouts anger in his eyes. "Why? I don't understand!", I tremble. "I don't love you anymore!", He snaps. "You said you'll always love me forever? How can you just lose love for me so easily?!", I yell tears bursting out of my eyes. "I lied, I don't fucking love you anymore now get the fuck out of my life!", He shouts his hands flying all over the place. My legs suddenly give out on me causing me to drop to the ground from how bad I was shaking. I'm now on my knees hugging myself as I sob so loud. "FUCK YOU I FUCKING HATE YOU! I GAVE YOU ALL OF ME, MY VIRGINITY, I BELIEVED YOUR PROMISES, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY I TRUSTED YOU! I-I HOPE YOU ROT IN JAIL!", I clench my fists as I stand up turning my heel around storming out of the visitation room. The door slams shut as I look down the hallway. Turning around back to stare at the door behind me. The thought of Eli not being mine anymore kills me. All of the promises, plans, and us growing old together went down the toilet.
