High school, the worst years of our lives, right? For Cassie Maxwell, this statement could not be farther from the truth. At the age of 13, Cassie and her father moved from England to Los Angeles, California when he got a new job, forcing them to move. There, she met her best friends Aria and Evelyn. Now a junior in high school, she is tasked with giving tours to new people. She loves doing this as she can relate to being new and unfamiliar with her surroundings. Luke Hemmings and his three best friends Calum, Ashton, Michael, plus Michael's twin sister Mckenzie, have to make the move to Los Angeles since their lives in Australia have gotten out of hand. Starting a band in high school was something they never thought they could do. Now that they've taken off in Australia, their families thought it would be best to move to America since it's getting harder for them to focus on their studies. As the first day of school approaches, they feel nervous, but confident that they'll be okay. Too many things have stopped Luke from achieving what he really wants. Being in L.A., he won't let anything get in his way, well, almost anything.
