After a heartbreak, she, impulsively, went to a place hours of flight away from home, choosing to deny the pain for as long as her trip would take. Yet, when she decided to be single for an extensive amount of time, this one guy made her think of her decision again. He was nothing like her heartbreaker. He was fine, hot and was a total catch. In the process of her getting as far away from her new-fresh-ex, she found herself questioning about another guy. And when she thought that she was the only one who went there after a heartbreak, she wasn't the only one.

This story follows a young Indian girl as she breaks free from the suffocating grip of her orthodox family to chase her dreams in the heart of London. In a city of millions, she crosses paths with a man under the most volatile circumstances. While their first encounter is marked by friction, she soon finds it impossible to ignore the pull of her heart. He, a man who shields his emotions behind a wall of silence, finds a corner of his soul aching for her presence.

This is a short story inspired by the Turkish tv show Doğduğun Ev Kaderindir. It's based around the blossoming relationship between Zeynep and Bariş aka ZeyBar. I was inspired by a tweet I saw talking about a "what if" fantasy of Bariş and Zeynep flying off to London together on a business trip. After the events of episode 27-28, I was wishing more than ever for Zeynep to fly away from all of this madness and just be allowed to live. I was listening to the song "Blackbird" by the Beatles and all the pieces fell into place in my mind. So I hope you enjoy this what if wish.
