Dani has travelled the world using her special, unique 'talent' to help people through troubling times and when she hears the rumour of a school where vampires and humans co-exist in supposed harmony. Well, she could hardly resist.

When she finally makes it to Xander Academy for Excellence, the rumours are immediately proved true. Now she must negotiate these new surrounding and try and find her unconventional place in a rather conventional, ancient hierarchy. Will she be able to protect those she care about against the only people who can destroy her? After all, she's technically an aberration.
