Dieselpunk Epulp Showcase
Includes stories by John Picha, Grant Gardiner, Bard Constantine, Jack Philpott.
This action-packed ePulp Anthology unleashes four new noir tales inspired by the pulp magazines of the 1930s and 1940s. Blazing brawls and gritty adventure awaits dieselpunks, nostalgians, die hard or pulp-curious fans. Hope you can take a punch, because these two-fisted tales hit hard!
For young hoods, the Aether Age streets of mob-plagued Chicago present a world of opportunity. And Mack and Mickey are headed straight for the top in "That Sort of World: a Tale of the Aether Age."
It's class-warfare in Citadel City as Pandora Driver and her Car of Tomorrow deliver rough justice to the elites and a douche named the Gooch in "Who are the People in your Neighborhood?"
"The Wise Man Says" introduces Mick Trubble: a hard drinking, chain smoking charmer who bites off more than he can chew... then chews like hell. The Troubleshooter takes the grit and slang of a hardboiled detective and drops it in a dystopian setting that mixes Fedoras, trench coats, flying cars and android policemen.
The dirty streets of Roanoketown were his home and his only family. Until he met HER. Now he'll follow HER into hell, tamahaak held high, and fight as a proud Indian against the Anglo Oppressors. He'll wager his life to be a true "A Friend of Spirits."

King of Chaos || Technoblade x Reader AU
Regret buried itself deep into the pit of my stomach as he leaned close, his breath fanning against my ear as his grip on me tightened, "Blood for the blood god." He whispered with dangerous intent. And that's when his sword pierced through my skin. ~ subscribe to technoblade If Techno is uncomfortable with this fanfic I will take it down not only to respect him as a person but also to respect his privacy. Techno has voiced that he is uncomfy with people using his real name so his real name will not be used in this story :D PLUS no real shipping is going to happen in this book! Techno has said that he is uncomfy with shipping so none of that is going to happen! This story is marked mature for the following reasons: gore, excessive swearing, weapons, violence, blood, and descriptions of death. if you are uncomfortable with any of the following, I'd recommend that you do not read this story. subscribe to technoblade This story in no way shape or form is related to any SMP that techno has participated in and this in no way shape or form is related to him or his brand, this is purely just me messing around with a writing prompt for Techno. Nothing NSFW happens in this book! I am a minor and reading / writing stuff like that in general for me is just gross let alone have it be a real person. I in no way shape or form own Technoblade or anyone else that may be mentioned in this story, however I do own the story, the plot, and anything that may go down in this story. If you have any questions or concerns please DM me on discord @ peyty#6362 as wattpad is messing up my messaging system and I will not be able to respond to you on here.Complete
The Demon of Saint-Eli
When a young devout woman seek out his help, the mysterious private investigator Simeon Engels knows that something peculiar is happening behind the masquerade of the town's most powerful man. But he will need to be careful... for justice can very easily be mistaken for bloodlust. The first ever short story of mine to earn a Mature filter (as it typically makes me uncomfortable to write dark and gritty stories), and, another first, one completely outside of the universes of my previous stories. It's completely standalone, with its own mythology and fantasy/realism rules, etc. Which made it even more so liberating, as I no longer needed to stick within an existing continuity in terms of what's possible and what's not. The Demon of Saint-Eli is the introduction (in an hopefully long collection of short stories) of an OC that I have come to love the concept for months: Simeon Engels, the mysterious private investigator that hides a greater secret than anyone could ever guess. At first wishing it to be a Victorian/film noir hybrid, I changed it instead to a steampunk setting, that allowed a greater range of what could be integrated in the story. Overall, I hope you enjoy this story. I hope to make it into a collection of stories revolving around the adventures and character development of Simeon Engels, and I hope that you will find him as interesting as I conceptualize him to be. 9th May 2021: this story is now part of a sale of art for charity. This will remain up for previewing the stories, but upon purchase, will be removed from Wattpad. Never-Ending Nightmare (Yandere Smiling Critters x Male Reader)
Y/N L/N was just a normal orphaned child but doesn't have many friends in his life and his only friends are the smiling critters gang made by playtime Co, a family friendly toy company that made that amazing toys like huggy wuggy, mommy long legs and the one and only poppy playtime herself. Y/N had a really had time sleeping at night as a dedicated and talented scientist decided to let y/n test out their latest new toy known as catnap, a purple cat that emits sleeping gas from her mouth that can put anyone to sleep, which actually worked really well as y/n gets to keep the toy from the scientist as a gift and became best friends with catnap as they both played together in dreamland along with the rest of the smiling critters. Y/N could never been happier until the catnap toys were recalled and Playco. was shut down after some "incidents" that happened behind closed doors. But then, many years later after y/n graduated college and is now 21 years old, he was dared by his so-called friends that were completely drunk as hell to go into the factory and stay there for a whole night as y/n soon found himself back at playcare, completely run down and abandoned. he eventually found the smiling critters in the factory that are all filled with so much joy to see their old friends back and now they don't want him to leave as they are determined to turn him into a smiling critters like them so he can be with them...forever. Authors note: just a heads up, this is NON-CANNON with any of poppy playtime. Instead, it'll be my own version of poppy playtime, and there will be some moments based around the actual game.Complete
The Assassin's Blade (The Archangel Trilogy: Book One) SAMPLE
A storm is brewing in Vorbereich. Twenty years after a war with the Lindtin powers that ended in horrible losses for the country and its allies, the country is still as broken and divided as it was when the war ended... except, of course, for the ruling classes, who go to balls and dinner parties while the rest of the country struggles to survive. However, one man believes he can change that: a man that is known simply as the Archangel. Many believe that what he does is going to finally unify Vorbereich and bring the country back to the strength it had before the war. However, when an outlaw, an heir to a fortune, and a police inspector cross paths, it becomes clear to them that his intentions are less than pure. And that it's up to them to stop him, before another war breaks out. Note: This is a sample. Catnap's Sick Game - The Hour of Joy | PoppyPlaytime Chapter 3
-Synopsis--- As the sole OSHA inspector in the factory, I am the only one who knows all the safety codes and protocols inside out. One day, while I was working, something terrible began. People running and screaming in the distance as panic set in. But just when I thought I was safe, Catnap reached me. He and the prototype had a plan in mind for me, one that I was unfortunately unaware of... Will the sick game of torture and intimidation by Catnap, force (Y/N) to submit and join this new dark cult? WARNING, this story is only for 18+ and contains the following: (Blood, Violence, Slurs, Gore, Murder) based on your tolerance, if you are sensible to these topics, read at your own risk. The tone will get DARKER as the chapters progress. The story follows a (Y/N) gender/character-neutral pov, so feel free to put the character you want. The lore slightly differs from the game, as this is a fan-made AU. English is my third language, I'm trying my best with the grammar [I'm Italian 🇮🇹]👉👈 This is my first fan book ever, please be nice 🥺 All Poppy-related characters belong to MOB Entertainment.Complete
