An unlikely hero, along with the friends he meets during his quest to discover his identity, will themselves to complete the impossible task of stopping the Scientist and all that the Scientist schemes. But are they simply subjects in the Scientist's experiment? Mature content includes some violence.

Operation Pandora was a mission made by the major deitys of the multiverse in order to punish their chosen children and restore the balances. Operation Pandora was started with a being created from a mix of every deitys magic using DESTINY's as a base. that being is one called Error. Error is the godess of destruction and possess power far beyond what the normal chosen children do but due to the fact she just woke up... let's just say she isn't the best at starting off at her godess duties. 💛 Heavily Inspired by 'Awoken' its a great story so I recommended you go read it if you haven't. The Demon of Saint-Eli by riversmelodie

When a young devout woman seek out his help, the mysterious private investigator Simeon Engels knows that something peculiar is happening behind the masquerade of the town's most powerful man. But he will need to be careful... for justice can very easily be mistaken for bloodlust. The first ever short story of mine to earn a Mature filter (as it typically makes me uncomfortable to write dark and gritty stories), and, another first, one completely outside of the universes of my previous stories. It's completely standalone, with its own mythology and fantasy/realism rules, etc. Which made it even more so liberating, as I no longer needed to stick within an existing continuity in terms of what's possible and what's not. The Demon of Saint-Eli is the introduction (in an hopefully long collection of short stories) of an OC that I have come to love the concept for months: Simeon Engels, the mysterious private investigator that hides a greater secret than anyone could ever guess. At first wishing it to be a Victorian/film noir hybrid, I changed it instead to a steampunk setting, that allowed a greater range of what could be integrated in the story. Overall, I hope you enjoy this story. I hope to make it into a collection of stories revolving around the adventures and character development of Simeon Engels, and I hope that you will find him as interesting as I conceptualize him to be. 9th May 2021: this story is now part of a sale of art for charity. A space pod that came out of a dimensional portal made its way towards the planet of Pandora where it crashed landed in a tropical water source near some islands. A water clan discovered the crash site where they found a unknown child of a different species in which they took it upon themselves to raise the child as their own and for many years the child grew into a powerful warrior and part of clan that see him as a god of their world. The child made friends and had a family but later during the years when he got older the clan told him of what he was and how he got to their world in which the child found out about his origins and who he family was and due time he uses his abilities to help people of Pandora and fight those who bring a threat to it.

Pandora Wallace, along with her twin Adam, is born into the iniquitous British society of 2035. This story follows the first 18 years of Pandora's blighted life. In 2015 the British government start micro-chipping babies, at birth, and then spend 14 years also chipping all of the adult population. In 2030 they abolish cash completely and all transactions have to be carried out via a human's on-board chip. This microchip is inserted into the heart wall of all acceptably healthy babies at the moment of their birth; the heart muscles powers the chip by recharging the battery. A second microdot 'PIN' is inserted at a random point in the baby's body. Should this 'PIN' become separated from the heart chip by any distance it causes the heart microchip to explode. The government is able to electronically disable or suspend the operation of anyone's chip at their whim, leaving the owner reliant upon the charity of others, or dead. Pandora is born with a minor gene defect which precludes her from being 'chipped'. Following a family crisis, at 14 years old, she is forced out on the streets to join the vast numbers of 'non-chips' who have to rely upon charity and slave labour to survive, not being allowed to work legally or earn money. Pandora finally goes to work for the underworld, determined to claw her way to the top and acquire an illegal microchip. She becomes a messenger at first and then her virginity is auctioned off by her boss. She becomes a high-class prostitute, a bodyguard and tangles with both a psychopathic killer and a government department determined to kill her and her boss. Books 2, 3, 4 & 5r continue to tell Pandora's story, together with that of the ill-conceived Chip & PIN system.
