Dipper and Mabel's parents decided they need to be out of the house and to get fresh air.
So from their cozy little home in California, they send them off to Gravity Falls, Oregon to stay with their great uncle, Stan.
Immediately, they fit right in, but bump into trouble.
After Dipper finds a mysterious journal and shows it to Stan, Stan becomes uptight and takes it away, and Dipper doesn't know why.
So he tries to find out that reason and instead of getting in trouble, Stan shows what he's been working on, and he couldn't believe his ears...
Stan, built a Time Machine.
It was suppose to be a secret, but they somehow got heard.
So one night, someone broke in, and shot and killed Stan.
In a panic, Dipper drags Mabel and himself into the Time Machine and accidentally travel to the past.
With Dipper's journal and brains, and Mabel's grappling hook, the try to find their way back to the present!
But will they make it?
