Remembering Me

A young girl wakes up in a hospital. She has no idea who she is. The only thing she remembers is she needs to go Somewhere. Where? She doesn't know. Why? She doesn't know that either. But she's desperate. Left only with the information Dr. Carp tells her about her accident—rescued after a young man on a cruise boat happened to spot her adrift at sea— she chooses herself a new name: Neima. Before long, Neima begins to remember things. A brother, a father, a mother. A house she's grown up in. A school she went to. Friends she knew. Only, they don't feel like her memories. On top of these false memories, she's been having dreams. Dreams of a place that wouldn't exist in the 21st century. Dreams with a king, a castle, people with unexplainable abilities and a boy who calls her by a name that she doesn't remember. When her 'family' that she's been remembering shows up at the hospital and plans to take her home, Neima plots to escape. So when Abel, the young man who spotted her on the night of her accident and has been paying visits to her at the hospital, offers to take her out of the hospital for a day, Neima sees her chance to escape. Yet she can't seem to leave Abel behind. So Neima decides to embark on a quest, Abel in tow—if he'll agree to go with her—to find out who she really is, and where she really comes from.
