Business is booming but there's a slight altercation. It seems Blackridge High School is not the only place in town that needs a love hero, and Blackstone View is not the only place in need of a reputation agent. So begins the battle between Cupid and Pheme, a fight for territory, a war of the minds, and a clash of personalities. Short of letting out the biggest secrets of all, their own identities, the two rivals are willing to do almost anything. Because all's Fair in love and ... rumour, right?

Riley Lachkov's life has only ever revolved around one thing-soccer. Raised in a family where emotions don't really exist, he's kept a cold front for as long as he can remember. Most people think they know him: a cocky, arrogant, rude jerk who couldn't care less about what anyone thinks. But there's a part of him no one's ever seen-and he intends to keep it that way. Archer Wilson has everything going for him. Top of his classes, most popular boy in school, and Saint Arthur's golden boy. He's charismatic, effortlessly kind, and has a way of making anyone fall for him without trying. When Riley's family immigrates from Russia to the States, he struggles to adjust, forced to start over in a place that feels nothing like home. His closed-off attitude and tendency to act like a total douchebag don't help either-they just push people further away. But Archer doesn't back off. If anything, he's more intrigued by the new transfer student, determined to break down every wall Riley has spent his life building. He can't help but praise him for everything he does, and quickly realizes he's smitten the moment he meets him. What happens when Archer, Saint Arthur's golden boy, starts falling for the new transfer student who seems to hate everyone? Will Riley finally let him in-or keep pushing him away like he always has? #1 in #gay (12.19.2025) tropes: #grumpyxsunshine, #polaropposites, #slowburn, #temporaryunrequitedlove #popularnerdxlonelyathlete #chasingarc #groveling #redemptionarc All Rights Reserved to Asphericity
