Piper is the "Princess" of her family. To her parents, she's an angel child, good grades, sweet girl, follows the rules, plays the violin and the piano, but what they don't know is that she is something they are absolutely disgusted by. Something that they hate. That violates their religion. She is a lesbian. But not the typical one, she's a sweet girl, but she's scene and fears of what everyone will think when they find out about her secret. So she pretends it doesn't exist. Until she meets Dani.

Dani has a reputation for being a troublemaker. She hangs around with the guys, she likes getting dirty and talking dirty. She loves baseball and kickball and a lot of sports. A lot of people would say she's a stereotypical lesbian but in fact, it's just who she is. Funny thing though, just about no one knows she's a lesbian, only few of her very close guy friends. Everyone else....well they just think she's secretly hooking up with all of the guys in her little group. But no, she's on the down low, she doesn't care who knows, but with there being no special girl, she sees no point in telling anyone.
