Her bright blue eyes gaze into mine and she gives me a reassuring smile. "Everything will be ok Draven."

 Slowly but surely she moves closer to me. I feel a sense of déja vu and it hits me.

She's going to... hug me.

Before I get the chance to tell her to get away, she wraps her arms around my neck. I try prying her off but that made her squeeze even tighter.

"Please...I don't want to hurt you," I beg, my voice quivering.

"You won't." A familiar burn reaches my throat. I can feel myself pushing her up against the wall eyeing her neck...

Draven is a 21 year old boy who got turned into a vampire when he was 18. After 3 years of constant running and being in denial of what he is, he comes to terms with the fact that he's going to be alone, forever. If he gets too close to people, he could hurt them unwillingly. 

Little did he know meeting her would soon change everything. Can he protect her from enemies who wish to hurt her? But most importantly, can he protect her from himself?

"What I was going to say was selfish..." He mumbled. I edge closer to him until my hand slowly cradled his cheek. Tilting his head up to look at me. "Please let me know what it was." Always thought it was fascinating how when he runs you can't see it. Being a vampire must be...fascinating. Yet he makes it out to be hell. I can't understand that kind of complicity of being a vampire and the issues. I get it, they drink blood. Though there's multiple things beside humans that offer blood! He acts like it's so horrific. I would love to know what it felt like for a day. Just one day...
