All Annabelle Paige has ever wanted is to be normal. To have friends. But, with a mom who shoves a bunch of kids into a giant maze to see what makes them immune to the most dangerous disease yet, her chances of finding them are very low. And then, somehow, she does. She finds friends. But her friends happen to be then test subjects. And as her mother has told her many a time, "we must not get close to the tested." But Annabelle is different from her mother.
