Jewel Dixon loved to play baseball, even back in Alabama before she moved to the suburbs of Los Angeles. She gets along with her cousin and his friends at the sandlot except for one: Benny Rodriguez. The two of them don't exactly see eye to eye. Upon Smalls's arrival, Benny and Jewel begin to discover something they have for each other: feelings. (Also on fanfiction.net)
