The Hillbilly Prophet
In the Kingdom of the Lord, obedience is sacred. The Prophet rules with scripture and steel. And women belong at home. At least, that's how it is now. Beulah Brooks's grandfather was once a war hero: one of the men who helped build The Kingdom. But what started as order has rotted into something else. To keep her from becoming another obedient wife, he does the unthinkable: forges her place at an all-boys military academy. There, Beulah must survive drills, doctrine, and discipline under the watch of men who would see her fail. But the true war isn't fought with rifles, it's the one between who she was raised to be... and who she's becoming. Torn between two sides. Two futures. Two boys who challenge her in different ways. Over the years, she will rise from outcast, to soldier, to something far more dangerous. A symbol. A threat. A spark they cannot put out. Spanning a decade of loyalty, war, and quiet rebellion, The Hillbilly Prophet is a haunting journey through what happens when you fight for a system that fears your existence... and what's left when you survive it.
