Three forms of maygik were once wielded by the people of Asquith but now, as war ravages the land, the most powerful of them all has abandoned their blood.

A farmer, a soldier and a Duchess.

Three tiers of society in the Kingdom of Asquith are thrown together by fate to deliver an object to the King. However, there are forces lurking in the shadows, some older than time and of the most archaic maygik: entities who never want to see this object delivered, those who plot against Asquith's impending victory in the war.

Warren, a woman of power.
Silas, a servant and warrior.
Alec, a simple man loyal to the land.

Some things just aren't worth being killed for.

And, worst of all, how women were being silenced to prevent more "corruption". Pallu, at seventeen, is exhausted from training as a warrior and as one of the Queen's elite White Guard, a group of telekinetics who protect the kingdom from evil mages. Already, she has traveled and battled more than most grown men. What she needs is a holiday, but naturally that holiday can't go without the king's being assassinated, her father nearly dying, her own life being threatened, and oh, she can suddenly hear a voice in her head. So much for holidays. Pallu returns home to meet this voice who turns out to be Rumah, a young woman who shares an uncanny resemblance to Pallu. Together these new friends must fight to save their kingdom from the chaos and destruction of traitorous mages. But at what cost? ***I've finally gotten all the chapters loaded! I hope you enjoy!*** As of 7/12/2020, I've updated/revised chapters 3 & 4. As always, I covet your comments.
