They had grown distant since high school and Abby's boyfriend, Alex Moriarty (son of Jim Moriarty) was so close to her. Too close to her for her protective daddy's liking. One school dance changes both their lives for the better. Abby and Hamish get thrown into the whirlwind of life, love, and hardships.
