Silver and Sapphire are the two new heroes of Inkopolis, and the Squid culture.  They both defeated DJ Octavio and ruined his plan to take land from the Squids.  Now, they are celebrated for their doing.

Or was it the DJ's real plan?

Or was it even the DJ?

Turns out it wasn't.  A more heartless shadow lurks right behind the DJ, assisting each other in their work.  Will Silver and Sapphire be able to stop whatever plan that the Octarians are formulating, and will they be able to fight for truth and justice?  This is the companionship between allies in the heat of battle as well as the search for the meaning and purpose of their true powers.

Two years have passed since the first season, and a lot has changed in Inkopolis. Zaki, who is now eighteen, is still on the Turf War scene trying to leave her mark in the Inkopolis Turf League before she ages out, and she'll be doing it alongside her friends, level-headed sniper Keiso and bubbly roller gal Teruo. She also finds herself being a mentor to two new squids on the block, the cool and confident Spider and his adorkable but incoherent friend, Inkura. When she's not fighting on the turf, she's saving Inkopolis from the Octarians, who have now found a way to use Inklings' ink as a power source at the cost of their voices. This time, however, she won't be alone. She has previously mentioned Sniper Boy Keiso; Callie and Marie of Squid Sisters fame; and Pearl and Marina a.k.a. Off the Hook, the current newsgirls in the Squid Sisters' place; by her side. Together, they'll be showing the Octarians what for all over again. Octo Expansion-This part takes place eleven months after the main second season. DJ Octavio is still loose, and a band of criminals and disgruntled turfers has made a name for themselves in Inkopolis. And to make matters worse, the Great Zapfish has been stolen!...again. At the same time, a few creatures, the likes of which the world thought would never see again, has stepped back out into the light to a world they are never prepared for. But there is more to these creatures than it meets the eye. Can the heroic agents of Splatoon save the day yet again? And can these creatures cope with this new world they're thrusted into.
