Dr. Morgan Barrow was just looking for a new life after her mother died and her social life went down the drain, so she applied to a job at a physical medicine and rehabilitation facility in California. When she receives a call informing her she got the job she drops everything and moves cross country to "The Golden State" to a tiny, secluded town called Blue Lagoon. That's where she meets Special Agent Spencer Bigby who has just entered the Law Enforcement Rehabilitation Program and has been assigned to her as her first patient.
