I actually began writing this piece shortly after coming out of a long drawn out and pain. I was a total mess. My life was in shambles and as I tried to make some sense of what had happened, and why, I began to write Awakening. This piece is a compilation of all the lessons I learned and the observations I made about myself, about other people and their relationships, and of the wisdom that my most dear friends.
