The Story Orgy is a group of gay romance writers who post serial stories based on writing prompts. This current incarnation of our stories follows the overall theme of superheroes (who doesn't love a good superhero story?), and my story is based on the following prompts provided by Cheri Taylor:
1) Super power: ability to read an entire book just by laying a hand on its closed cover
2) Crisis: losing your contacts or glasses that you cannot see without
3) Object: a toasting fork
Lucas Pritchard is our superhero, who has always been able to read anything--books, notebooks, lists, letters--just by laying a hand on it. Kieran Brooker is a graduate assistant in Lucas's weekly college chemistry lab.
