A woman, whose heart, home, and everything else in her life was wrecked along with her boat. She was alone on an island when her sanity and her life-force were buried six feet beneath the ground in the form of her best friend. 
Nothing tied her down to reality anymore. 

A man, who was tired of the interconnected web of his life, chose to unwind it all. He brought his wit and his sanity to a far off island to be alone. But he didn't realise that the only reason he used to function was because of the many things that held him up. On the island, he fell deep and hard without anyone to help him out. His being started to unwind, but not in the way he wanted or expected. 



They both had a clean slate. They both got lost on their new canvases. They both couldn't be found, because no one was looking for them. 


But they were surprised by who was looking out for them.

It was a bright, summer day. Mr. and Mrs. Evans were both in the hospital, ready to give birth. But they were really scared. It's their first child so Mrs. Evans was really afraid of how it might go. "It's okay, honey. It'll be okay." Mr. Evans tried to reassure his wife, stroking her head soothingly. "But what if the baby comes upside down? What if there's something wrong with her? What if it hurts?" She asked questions so quickly that Mr. Evans doesn't even have time to answer any of them. "The baby will be fine. Don't worry. It won't hurt as well. It'll be over before you even know it." But no matter what he said, she was shaking with fear and panic. The doctor came towards them. "Do we have a name for her?" She asks as they wait for a contraction. Mr. Evans looked between the doctor and his wife before answering, "Actually, we haven't-" "Hope" Mrs. Evans looked up at him, smiling. "Hope Evans." ~~*~~ Hope Evans lost more in her life at such a young age. She lost every dream she has ever had, lost everything she held dearly and she lost everyone she ever loved. She had to begin all over again. Only to be fallen right back down. Will she be happy again? Will she be able to dream again? But most importantly, will she be able to love again? Despite everything she faced, she hopes to gain everything she once loved. Some say that hope is just a delusion. Is it?

So, it's the guys that do the heart breaking, right? Not this time. Lacy broke his ego. His heart. Him. She cat-fished Ace and made him fall in love with her - via text. As the texting became addictive, she didn't realise the mess she was in. She was being manipulative, devious and selfish. It was the same routine, everyday. Sending him fake pictures, lying to him and playing with his feelings. Until...the deceit became intolerable. The guilt was gnawing her insides - to the point it drove her insane. She was falling in love with him too. There was no way out - not now. She had to lie her way out - somehow or the other. She had to tell him the truth - soon! But, when she did, the ending was indeed, tragic... Lies came out into the open, unexpected truths were revealed but, more importantly, several hearts were broken... They say the mind is maze of unknown insanity. A place where you don't know how wrong you are until it's too late. I felt myself crumbling and drifting away into what I always feared. Turning into the monster under the bed instead of the scared child under the covers. It was drowning me fast, taking me under, until I started breathing it like oxygen. Until it had me hooked by the neck, and I couldn't make my escape. I don't know how he found me or why he stayed by my side. I just know his love was so intoxicating, that it saved me. And I know his love was so addicting, that it killed me. Or maybe I was dead all along.
